I can't really say too much about this because it's just far too personal for the internet. But what I will say is thanks to all who have prayed for Heather's Dad. No matter what's going on with him I know that he is loved by all of you. This is anything but easy for us to deal with. So whatever you do don't stop praying for him he needs all the prayer he can get right now.
On another note I got a pt job at Sam's Club in their cafe area. It's not particular a good job, but it is a job nonetheless and that's what matter most to me about it. It's a little bit like Little Caesar's because pizza is served there, but other than that it's different. The thing I like most about it is making pizzas. I didn't make a lot of pizza's at Little Caesar's. But now I wish I did it would have made that job so much more enjoyable. The best thing about the job is that so far I haven't had to wash a lot of dishes so I am happy about that too. The major dislike about the job is that time just seems to go by so slow there that it almost makes me think that Sam's Club runs on it's own alternate diminsional clock. It goes by incredibly slow there. And it's the busy place I have ever worked at. I mean it's ridiculos how busy that place gets. But it is better than sitting around the apartment.
Please continue to pray for the McNeely family they need all the love they can get right now and thanks again for everybody's help that he has received. God is still working on Phillip McNeely.
I am so glad that so many people want to visit him. He is a man that is loved by many people. <strike><strike><strike></strike></strike></strike>

Podcasting

When I was in high school I used to listen to this show on the Oregon University sation. It's was a Hardcore and Metal show. From then on I really wanted to have my radio show where I would play the music I liked. Now I can do that by making a podcast with garage band. This is my podcast. I thought about calling it eclectic electric. When I was in high school I was going to call my show extremities, which might be a better name. But it's doesn't apply to all the music anyway here it is for all of you to download and listen in your car or whatever.

Songlist

Band:Song

1. I know we will win because I've never heard of this college. I was at first surprised to see Arkansas at #17 since we only had an 8-5 record. But the people who put us there know that we would be better this year and I think Arkansas is going to do a lot better this year. I am so ready for football season. I'm doing fantasy football again, last year I went 7-6 and made the playoffs as a wild card team. I lost my first playoff game. Not bad for my first year. I'm in a league now that has 4 teams in the playoffs than 8 like last year. But I think I will do good this time. It's fun I like it more than I thought I would. I wish I was in a league with some people I knew though. I joined a league from Arkansas. The name of my team is Bonesaw's ready. I hope to dominate this year.

Go Hogs!

church

I've been writing my blogs on my facebook page. If you didn't know.

I'm listening the the Church of The Harvest praise and worship team. I used to play some of these songs in church. I really miss the Village church, In my mind I would really like to have one more service there. It's hard to let go sometimes. I'm glad I'm still in touch with most of the people I met there. We've been going to a new church called Midtowne church and I feel really young around everybody there. I like going though, It's good to hear a message that's current in our lives that we can apply to ourselves and not just sit and listen to some one's ideas about Christ. I get Christ's teachings from the messages. I would really like to return to playing music with people from Midtowne Church and I feel like it's going to happen eventually.
At the Village church I was kind thrown into it after I told them I could play and i was alright with that. Then I never got to play at Mosaic. But recently I've been talking back and forth with Kenny Robbinson about playing music at Midtowne.

I hope to play guitar there soon.

I'm trying to write something, hold on. I'm glad I love the heat. I also love my wife, she doesn't feel good today, please pray for her to feel better I would like that. Church was good yesterday. It was about preaching the word to people. I need to do that more it's not easy sometimes.

People have found out how to make harmonicas out of old nes games that is cool. I used to have a harmonica I could never play anything on it I suck at it. I have always wanted one of those things that connects a harmonica to a guitar and I don't even own an acoustic guitar. Someday I will be a famous folk singer and sell millions of albums and only eat brown m and m's it will be awesome. My wife will learn to play drums and we will start a band. We will play Saturday Night live and host as well because I have always wanted to do that. And we are funny. Meat Cookies are yummy so are meat popsicles but not hairry lollypops. I like some of the fighters and there are some I dislike. Tito Ortiz is not as nearly annoying as he is in the ring he is actually a pretty good coach I think. But he's still annoying in the ring, I don't care what you think about him I don't like him. They announced that Forest Griffin is fighting Antonio Rogerio Nogera I know I spelled that wrong, so that should be a good fight, I've never seen Antonio fight before, but I hear he's really good. He's been out of commision for a while though. I would like to see Forrest win because I like him.

I'm still wondering how Lost will end. This is very important in our world of false hopes we have truth and that truth is Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the one person who can fulfill your life the only way for this to happen is to have him as the center of your life. We live in a world where other things rule our lives, these things that we call interest, which aren't bad to have of course) can become idols and this can become deadly for us. So what's the center of your life? Is it Jesus? Or is it something else. We all need help in this life and Jesus provides us with this help, this help that we all need.

So I went and saw Crazy Heart it was but not really what I expected. I never expect country singers to say the f-word so many times however I do expect hear Jeff Bridges to say all the time, because of the Big Lebowski he says f every other word and so does John goodman's charactor in the movie. I also didn't expect Colin Farrell to be a good country singer either. Supposedly Robert Duvall sings a song on the soundtrack, which I have yet to buy. I wonder what he sounds like though.
Jeff bridges kinda reminded me of my dad except he was an alcoholic. But if my dad was a country singer he would be bad Blake (jeff bridges). He just acted like my dad does. And said
things he would say. I could do without all the stuff with Maggie gyllenhall though. I thought bad Blake would end up a big star and that really didn't happen he did get alot of
money off of the songs he wrote for Colin farrel at the end but I thought he would record that song not Colin. It was different movie from what I normally saw in theaters meaning no explosions or gunfights just verbal conflicts this time. That's ok it was a good movie but I thought it would be different that's all.
Wolfman was good we saw that on valentines day and it was pretty good the reviews online were wrong it was
not
slow at all. I hope they make a sequel out of it.
I bought a new cd yesterday from band called azmaveth which was one of the names of Davids many warriors in the bible his name meant strong as death which now officially is my favorite word in the bible because of that. They sound like old old underoath which i still listen to sometimes cries of the past is one of my favorite albums of all time. So check them out if you like that sort of thing.
I think this is all I want write now. I did this whole blog on my iPhone. I don't, however, like it when it is bitterly cold. Who does? I mean seriously. When it's cold as balls outside I don't even want to go outside. I didn't go out that much anyway. We still got some snow and Ice up where I work but most of it is gone by now I am sure.

So stayed inside most of the weekend almost the whole weekend. Heather is sick so I am taking cake of her. On Sunday the Robson's bought us some food, green bean cassorole, key lime pie and this really good soup. Actually all of it was really good and I plan to eat some more green beans when I get home. I wish my wife could taste how good everything was and I wish she was feeling better. I have been praying for her to get better. She has been taking nyquil and that has been helping.

I did not want to go to work today I would have much rather stayed home with my wife and played wii sports resort or something like that.

We did watch a movie it was that Twilight movie and it was boring to me I didn't like anybody in the whole movie except for the werewolf indians because they were nice. Those vampires were lame, and especially the baseball part what the crap? Vampire baseball? The fight scene was good that was really the only part I liked. Heather and Patrick love this movie, but not me. Both of them said I would like the second better, but I don't know. I usually like vampire movies too. I have always like werewolfs and monster movies and stuff like that.

We watched the pro bowl, which everyone on the radio is calling it the worst game ever played. Well it's not the worst game I ever saw, the worst game I ever saw was when Geogia beat us this season that was pretty unbearable to watch, and the cowboys vs the packers this year that was awful also when they played the redskins even though they won it was still terrible. And of course the first televised bears game was pretty terrible I think it was against the broncos I think. Broncos are awful how did they go 6 and O? I don't know.

I'm reading Catcher in the Rye and it's really good, but I have no idea what's it really about it's just some kid running away from home and school. He's finally got back home now where I am in the book he just got home. But I think it's about finding yourself and moving around in life, kind of like Through painted deserts was about moving and finding yourself and growing up and coming of age stuff I guess. Somehow Donald Miller put Christ in the book too. he has this special way of including Christ in his stories it's quite fascinating and secretive and really good. He's really good at it. Just reading all of Miller's books just makes me want to go back to Oregon for a week with Heather and show her where I used to live and goto Church and School and where we used to eat and goto shows and concerts it was some fun times living there for almost three years. The Catcher in the Rye was written by J.D. Salinger who just a couple of days ago died and was 91 that's really old. I didn't even know that he was still alive really. Well he's not now anyway.

So I guess I will end this blog up with some movies that I can always watch no matter what the circumstances are.

Tommy Boy
Joe Dirt
Terminator 1 and 2
The Big Lebowski
Fargo
Rushmore
the first three Star Wars movies
The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
Forrest Gump
The Wedding Singer
The Waterboy
Billy Madison
and Happy Gilmore

Black Sheep is worst Farley/Spade movie I have ever seen, it's not even funny. And I didn't ever finish Beverly Hills Ninja although I want to someday.

Three Ninjas Kick Back!

ready for Breakfast

I'm tired today. I know I would be cause I went to Vino's to see some bands last night, then I get home and I'm tired. Wake up and I'm still tired. I saw three bands all from Arkansas, Something to Stand For, Thrill of a Dogfight, and Take it Back. They were all really good. And I thought all the good Arkansas bands broke up? well there's still some good bands here apparently.

Had some Orange juice today and man have I ever forgotten how much I like Orange Juice. I haven't had any in months, which is unbelievable for me since I love the stuff so much. It's best thing to drink in the morning. My brand is Florida Natural if you were wondering.

I also like toast and eggs too, I love breakfast I could eat it any time of day. I should have a day where I just breakfast type foods. That would be a day. Or a restuarant that just serves breakfast. I know there's already a restuarant that just serves cereal. how weird is that? I don't ever really care to go there. I can make cereal at home. Actually I can make most breakfast at home, but I still love IHOP, weird eh?

my thoughts on Avatar

Avatar was really great and extremely fun to watch. It's like an amusement park ride but with no puking.
When this movie began I just thought that it was good, and as it went on I began to like it more. The world of Pandora is so emersive that I felt like it was a real place. It wasn't like I watching videogames at all, which is the way I felt when I watched Star Wars Revenge of The Sith. I mean Lucas Arts might as well of have made a Star Fox movie. Cause that's what I felt like when I was watch it. That actually wouldn't have been a bad idea. I would watch it. I love Star Fox, but I digress, Avatar's Cinematography is the best I have ever seen. I can't think of anything that comes close. I can see why James Cameron had to wait so long to make this movie.
The story is great too. It gets better as the movie goes on. It gets more exciting as it goes on. And that's what I wanted in this movie, Excitement and I got it.
This movie reminds of The Abyss more than any other movie. Mainly for the animation in it. In way I could see this movie as a cartoon with every segment of the film made with CG and it would still work. But it probably wouldn't have made the same amount of money. Just because not everybody is a fan of cartoons. But I didn't even feel like it was animation and that's what makes this movie so great It's feels real. Pandora is a place that you want to visit for a vacation.
It also reminded me of history, Mainly Custer's Last Stand, with the General being Custer, but way worse, and Jake Sully being Geronimo. The Navi reminded me of the Navajo Tribe or an African tribe. And they were very easy to root for.
I could also see this movie being turned into a TV Drama. I think it could work, kind of like a Lost type show with a lot of secrets and mysteries.
I could also this as an anime series.
One that I do want to have from Pandora is the faith that they have there. In Pandora the whole tribe believed in God wouldn't it be great if we had faith like that. This is also how Pandora can be viewed as the Garden of Eden.
Avatar left me with a great feeling how great American Cinema can be and how great it should be. Of course in American Cinema it the only direction I see is up.

Saturday

I'm always glad when it's saturday. This is the day when Heather and I can do whatever we want to and today is no exception for we are going to see Avatar today and it better be good and it not make me depressed. Of course it won't do that cause I know of a better place than pandora it's called Heaven. I think patrick is going with us. it really sucks that tickets for a 3-D show are 11 dollars though. Well atleast I get my buddy holly glasses to wear.

So lately I have been creating fake bands on Figment.cc I got four so far, The Lesser Knowns, The Pawns, (which was actually the unofficial name of a band I was in), Old Man Gloom, and Swindlers of Death. People can get on there and create fake bands that make fake albums and go on fake tours and they earn fake money called Lucre, which you can use to buy stuff in the lucre store, real stuff, like itunes cards, a book about a fake rockstar, and Ipods, but you got to earn a lot of lucre to buy anything. But it's kind of fun and it helps pass some time at work. Getting on the ole' MS paint and drawing album covers. I either use that or Photoshop elements here at home.

So Heather and I watch that Baby Mamma movie and it was ok. There really wasn't anything I didn't like about it. It was pretty simple and extremely easy to follow and Tina Fey actually looked pretty in it. So it wasn't bad.

I created and Ilike.com page for my garage band recordings and with that comes along a facebook music page. So it's win/win. Here it is if you want to hear a badly produced version of "out of my hands." http://www.ilike.com/artist/Jared+j+Lowry+

birthday list

Birthday list

My 27th birthday is on march 4th that's hard to believe that I am no longer going to be 26.

Guitar stands
Fearless by max Lucado
A million miles in a thousand years by Donald miller
The Stand graphic novel by Stephen King
Chrono Trigger for Nintendo DS

Where did the time go?

It's the first snow of the year and It hasn't lasted long where I am at work but at least i got to see some snow, even if it isn't that much, and it just getting colder this week. I am finally getting over being sick, but I still have some minor congestion today, but it's nowhere near as bad as it has been. I would like to thank Heather for helping me get well. I hope she feels better too.

I have to say the message at church yesterday was a little bit hard to follow. It was about faith and how we can do all things with faith and so can Jesus, but it just seemed a little back and forth for me. Because of the way Pastor Mark was preaching. He would go off on how a lot people in the bible that had faith didn't really gain a lot in the life because of it, and how other people did gain a lot because of it. So really why should you still have faith and have nothing to gain? I guess that was the point, but today I thought, We don't have faith to gain rewards we have faith because he is real, and he has saved us from a useless existence. For our reward is in heaven of course, but it is not heaven that we believe in, it is Jesus. Sure we know heaven is real too but it's because of Jesus that we have faith and therefore we are saved. So it doesn't matter how much we get in reward it matters how much we want to believe in him, and of course he will believe in us. The goal is to have faith, not to want to be with Jesus, but to have him in your heart. I hope this makes sense, and that I am not just rambling here.

Heather and I watched a movie called Max Payne with netflix, and it was pretty good. It followed the video game somewhat, it was more like Max Payne 2, than Max Payne. I used to love this game when it was out for the playstation 2.

It feels good to write again! Why haven't I done this? I really don't know. I don't really have a reason to why I haven't written anything in a while, but it feels good to do it again.

It was also good to see the hogs actually win a bowl game, and I'm glad Tejada could redeem himself. I had some friends who went to the game I'm glad they got to go. I hope they were too. I honestly thought this game wouldn't have been so close I thought the hogs would win big, but it was really close and a fun game to watch.

I am missing my Christmas and New Years break I don't want it to already be over. But I am already back to work as most people are too.

I actually saw this like 3 weeks ago

The Blind Side is a movie about Michael Oher, who is an NFL Football player. This is his story of how he got to the NFL. Obviously he has a very unlikely story of how he got there. Michael Oher was homeless when his mother was taken away from by the State being declared an unfit mother for him. He spent his whole in and out of foster homes until a family, (the Tuhays) notices him at their kids high school takes him in as one of their own.

Oher's life is completely opposite from The Tuhays. They are very well off and can buy anything they want. They live in a huge house, where Oher used live in the projects of Memphis.

The school that accepts him is Wingate, a Christian high school. I call it that because it was emphasized in the movie. Oher is one of the few black students there, which makes him feel uncomfortable.

There is some racial tension in this movie and it was almost like watching Jacky Robinson play in the Forties. I say this because Oher is the only black guy on an all white football team and the players he plays against are all white. And some people point this out in the movie. Of course these people aren't shown as being good people in the movie and they aren't.

The Tuhays play just as much of a role in this as Oher does. Leanne and Sean Tuhay become legal guardians of Oher and they treat him like he's another son of there's. The kids, Collins and Sean Jr. also treat him like a brother. The interactions between them are really great to watch because I don't expect a lot people to do this. For one they barely know this guy, and I don't expect a lot people like them to take in someone who are homeless.

Oher finds himself when he plays football and he's becomes great at it. When he starts practicing with the team he doesn't know what he's doing. Leanne and Sean Jr. help coach him along with the Coach Cotton who is the Wingate Football coach. He's becomes a great left Tackle, which is a position I know to well because I was one for my first two or three games before I was moved to guard. Oher is so good that college coaches want to recruit him and they are played by themselves, coaches like Lou holtz, Tommy Tubberville, Nick Saban, and even Houston Nutt. The best part about these meetings is Sean Jr. who acts almost like Oher's agent.

He decides on which college he goes to and that's the rest of the story really. The Blind Side is a movie of unexpected expectations. It's a situation that I wouldn't think would happen in life and I don't know how anyone could make this up, sometimes fiction just can't beat life stories like this. It shows how different people can get along and get through their difference and just realize that they are all people and should be treated the same. It's something that a lot of people don't do and that's shown in the movie as well. It's a story of hope and football and it's really great to watch Oher achieve what he wants to do in life, which is to play for the NFL.

Some new lyrics I wrote

Out of my hands
I want to throw caution to your will
Let God and let go of this world
Guide my heart and thoughts
Jesus Christ, Take My life
It’s out of my hands
Out of my hands
Lead me down the narrow path
And drive me away from temptation
Shelter my life with grace
And forgiveness
Sometimes I fall from your grasp
But you always remember me
And I praise your name and say
Jesus Christ, Take my live
It’s out of my hands
It’s out of my hands

Weekend Warrior

Things are good, Heather and I are about to go to Tyler Texas, for Thanksgiving, which has been great the last two times we went there. We’re going to eat at this place called Juicey’s I love the name of the place already, to eat what my Father in-law calls the best burger he’s ever had. So I’m looking forward to this a lot. It’s always fun to go there and I’ve never gotten treated badly by any of them and I don’t ever suspect them to do that. I like her Dad’s family a lot.
Of course I’m going to eat Turkey and all the other wonderful sides that they always have. I could say more but it would just make me hungry.
Over the weekend where Heather and I watch football games and occasionally UFC events with friends I figured out that Competition really makes life interesting. Be it just watching other people go at it about something or doing it yourself. I’m not that competitive though. People can make anything competitive though and really most of things that they do doesn’t really matter in the long run but some like getting jobs for instance do. As Americans (and I’m sure others in different countries) we are a competitive nation. This is healthy, it prefects our strive to achieve and sets goals to make. When you reach these goals it feels really good. It’s a feeling unlike any other. A state of bliss if you will, so it’s really more than just sports it’s a spirit of attitude, and I’ve found out that attitude really helps me get through the day, because I know I can have a bad attitude sometimes or being a bad mood and people who know me can attest to this, but as long I’m positive I do feel better about what is going on.
This is a short blog entry about what had happened this weekend and what will happen during this week. I’m really someone who looks forward to the weekend as most people are I’ve gathered.

Moving to Far

If anybody would like to know, my wife, Heather is felling a little bit better, she seems better to me anyway. It's about time she felt better she would agree.

We've been watching some movies, Where the wild things are, The Blob, some others before that. We both like Where the Wild Things Are, it was fun and funny, very imaginative and made me feel like a kid a again really. The cinematography was great it looked just like some of the pictures in the book so I think Spike Jonze did a great jorb on this movie. I saw one other movie by him, which was being john Malkovich, which was terrible. But this was a good movie that I reccomend it for all ages.

We watched the Blob last night from 1958 I'm becoming more of a horror fan because of all these horror movie reviews that I'm watching. The Blob was good and super cheesey so that's good. Heather thought it was boring. I can see why she thought that it was a bit slow.

I watched a video a while back about the blob, which made me want to watch it. In the town where it was filmed has a big festivul every year called Blobfest or something like that where you can watch the movie and the end of the movie everybody is supposed to run out screaming just like in the movie, which is the best part of the movie. Another fun movie to watch.

There is something that is bothering me and that some of our friends keep moving away, we will miss them and we miss the ones that have already moved away. We miss the Village Church. I don't know when I will stop missing that place it helped me grow so much in my walk with God. I miss playing there, I miss playing music with people altogether it's just a lot better playing with other people. I know that our friends moving away is good for them in a way because they all really want to do it it seems and of course they have a bigger purpose in mind too, which is great. It's actually a greater purpose in mind for them but it's still hard on their friends. To leave can either be a noble thing or a great mistake it's what they're following in order to move that makes the difference. You have to have a good reason to move really. I like the olden days when most people moved because of job promotions or going to college those reasons just make more sense to me. Not that my friend's reasons don't make sense to them. I'm not glad that they're moving but they are glad and that's what matters. I'm sure it's way harder for them to move too. In a way it's like moving has to do with growing up in life, with each move you learn more about yourself and more about the world we live in and that's always good. so we all move on to better things in life and sometimes that requires physical movement in ourselves and it's not a bad thing at all. I wish them well and I know that we will probably see them again.

Today I will post a short story I wrote it starts out with a riddle

When worlds Collide
By Jared Lowry

Brown upon brown
Dark purple upon brown
One crunchy, other gooey
Lifted by hands and put together
Like birds to a feather
When worlds collide
They make me fell better and happy inside
My belly grows wide
Hahahaha I laugh as I reach for something blanco
To wash it down pronto

It’s a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Two Brothers
By Jared Lowry

Dustin stood over her bed from behind the bed rest of her bed looking over her as she slept. He lit a match, and watched it glow with fire. He moved quickly from left to right, his eyes followed it. He smiled wide his teeth shown across his face like the sun is shining. Then he threw the match upon her landing on her waste. She began to wake up in shock. The flame burned threw her sheets, she began to cry. He ran out the door of the apartment.
Remembering what she had learned from elementary school, she rolled out of bed and began to crawl into the living room covering her mouth with her shirt. She got to the door and began to yell for help as she cried each scream got louder and louder she pounded her fists on the door minutes later her neighbor from across told her to back up as he was going to break down the door with his foot. He kicked it through and saw her, picked her up and carried her out. They walked away and called 911 for fire emergency.
Fire fighters would come at mid morning around 4:50 am. Mathias arrived to find Jillian with a blanket wrapped around her that one of the fire fighters had given to her. She was sitting there on the sidewalk and Mathias cared to join her he told her it’s going to be ok. Her stomach was still burnt as the ambulance came for her she was loaded in on a stretcher. “Can I come with her she is my girlfriend?” He asked. They told him yes and they rode to the hospital.
They passed through the hallway and Jillian got a room. The doctor gave her morphine and she quickly went back to sleep. Mathias barely slept in his folded out recliner that was provided in the room.
The next morning Mathias woke up about ten minutes before Jillian did. “Good Morning,” he said while sitting in the recliner by her bed.
“I know who did this to me. It was Dustin.”
Math fueled with rage. “I’ll kill him for this.” He yelled.
“Don’t be so loud. That would find with me too.”
Dustin is Mathias’s twin brother. He was created by his father in a DNA lab. As a result of an accident during the process in the lab his skin glows blue, because of radiation from toxic waste. His glow came in handy later on because he would always know if he was close by. His Dad is not a careful scientist. He built a lab in his basement of their one story house, he called it the Cellar. His first intent was for Mathias to never be alone after his wife left him because she thought he was crazy.
During childhood Mathias and Dustin would fight a lot. Their Dad, Grimwire, remembered one day in particular when he had a revelation. While he was sitting on a park bench watching his two boys fight on the playground in front of him he didn’t try to stop it. This was the first time that he didn’t want to stop it. It still worried him in his mind and he began to tremble with fear he began to shake but still was able to keep his seat. The he stood up and began to cheer for Mathias, his arm raised up with a clenched fist as he shook it in the air. “Atta Boy there Math!” he yelled. Who also eventually won the fight by pinning Dustin down on the ground and punching him in the face. Mathias Stopped hitting him, panted like a dog, and then got up, and would even lend a hand to Dustin, which woke him up from his slumber of being knocked out. “What were we doing, Math?” He asked.
“Nothing, nothing important.”
This in turn changed their father’s mind he forgot about his first reason for creating Dustin and came to the delusion that he really created him so they would fight. Therefore he would be right and would stop being sorry for creating him in the first place.
The boys now sixteen were out of school for the summer.
During breakfast the next day Mathias and Dustin were eating Frosted Mini Wheat’s cereal together. Dustin would begin to taunt him with his words about Jillian.
“So, you’re going to see your little girlfriend today?”
“Of course I am. She needs someone to talk to.”
“What about her parents? Haven’t they come to see her?”
“I guess they would have, she’s moving back in with them when she is out of the hospital.”
“You want to know something else?”
“What? I’m trying to eat here.”
He began to whisper noticing their Dad was in the room. He moved his face in closer toward Mathias, “I did that to her.”
Mathias began to twitch as Dustin would get up and wash his bowl out and leave. Mathias held in his anger He tried to think about what to do but nothing came to mind.
“Why don’t you used your clubs, go out to the driving range, you know I got you those clubs for a reason.”
“No I’m fine. I’m gonna go see Jillian after I’m done eating.”
“Ah, have fun tell her I said hello.”
With that Grimwire left the kitchen. Mathias fixed himself another bowl of cereal for his was now soggy.
He appeared at the hospital, Jillian had a private room and the doctors were in the process of her skin graphing transplant on her stomach. Mathias showed up at the door with yellow daffodils and orange Tiger Lilies wrapped in white wrapping paper with a get well soon card attached. A photo of the flowers that he bought was on the card that came with the flowers. She was awake; He bent down to hug and kisses her on the cheek.
‘Oh thank you, Mathias for the flowers, as you see I don’t have very many,” She joked as she pointed out the ones her Parents had given her earlier that day. They were lying on their left side flowers pointing to the left on the window sill. Mathias’s flowers were dwarfed in comparison to his. All of them yellow that shone like the sun outside her window with the blinds raised as it made the flowers ever more present. “Those are from my parents they just have left.”
“How have you been doing?”
“Oh better my surgery will be done later today, they’re doing it in haves.”
“That sucks; I bet the anticipation is killing you.”
“It’s definitely testing my patience.”
“I’ve got to go; I promised my dad I would go golfing with him today.”
“I don’t know why you like that stuff.”
“I don’t, my dad does and you know how he is, by the way he says hello.”
“Tell him I said hello too.”
He bent down hugged her again as he told her good bye.
After he had left He didn’t notice Dustin hiding behind the door waiting for him to leave huddled hunched over by the door knob. Mathias walked passed him. Even with the blue light he didn’t notice he was around. He softly walked in with his hunched over back, when Jillian saw him she tried to scream, but he walked over to her and covered her mouth with his hand. She began to shake in her hospital bed. Her door opened again, Dustin backed off of her and it was her doctor. “Who’s this, Jillian?” Dustin backed up to where her doctor was standing and said. “I’m her brother’s girlfriend, I’ll be going now.” Dustin left and Jillian was saved yet again.
Meanwhile when the brothers got back from the Hospital, Mathias went down to the basement Dustin just happened to be there too. Mathias was just bothered by seeing him. Though, he ignored his feeling of being bothered by him. “Hello, Dustin.”
“Hello, Mathias. You will be glad to know that I saw Jillian again. But I didn’t get to attack her this time. Hah hah hah.” He continued to laugh.
This time he was more than bothered by this, he was royally pissed off. “You didn’t!”
“But I did.” He began to laugh again and again he wouldn’t stop.
Mathias was filled with rage; he looked to the left and saw his golf clubs in his orange golf bag. He rushed over there and pulled out his driver and swung it in an upward arch coming into contact with Dustin’s face. With him still laughing he got clocked in the head by the golf club, Mathias hit him with enough force and momentum to kill him. When he saw this he was in shock and he began to sweat he couldn’t believe what had done so he bent down picked up his left arm and dropped it back on the floor, He knew he was dead and it done, Dustin had stopped laughing he no longer could laugh, he no longer could be happy with attacking people because he couldn’t do it anymore.
Grimwire came into the basement and saw this. Mathias turned around and saw him he walked towards him and confessed, I did this, Dad it was all me. He was fine with it. He began to tell him the reasons why he created Dustin.
“I created Dustin here in this lab so that you would have a friend, but he turned into an enemy, he wasn’t always bad he just grew worse in his age, you remember that one day when I saw you two fighting on the playground and I didn’t try to stop it.”
“Yes.”
“That was the first time that I realized that there was a another reason for creating him, it was to teach you how to fight, so that you would fight him, fighting was his purpose, but as you can see he wasn’t very good at it.”
Mathias began to shake Grimwire as hard he could “You’re crazy, Dad, you’re crazy!” He stopped shaking him and shook off his feeling of anger, he realized that it was not his fault for Dustin’s anger it was not his intent of making him.
“I think I better leave.”
“Where will you be going?”
“That’s not for me to decide, I will go where ever I am needed. Where ever I am wanted by this world where I don’t feel crazy for killing my brother although I know it will haunt me and will probably never go away I can’t forgive myself for what I have done, but I must go from here.”
Grimwire didn’t try to stop him nor did he want to he thought this might be destiny calling him to greater things beyond this place.
“You go, find your destiny son, for this world is your oyster. Enjoy it while you can, son.” He patted him on his right shoulder and wishes him well with good luck and God’s blessing. Mathias walked on up the stairs and left this cell of a basement to his Dad who would take good care of it for he knew how to use it well now since he had learned from his mistakes.

Why Do We Want To Make This About Something Else?

Why Do We Want To Make This About Something Else?

Why do we want to make this life about something else? More about ourselves, our bodies, ourselves, really what makes us so self –involved? I wonder if people were always this way. I wonder if they were like this during biblical times during the times when Christ was physically here in a human body. Not that he is right now or anything like that. The compelling power of Jesus sure can make you humble. And yet we still want this to be about ourselves.
When Jesus walks on water he asked Peter to walk with him on the water and he did until he noticed the wind, he began to sink. He made that moment about the storm; they all did until Jesus got back into the boat. They were even afraid of Jesus when it happened. I know I would probably be shocked too, but the disciples shouldn’t have been afraid. It’s alright Jesus is here it’s all going to be alright. Sometimes this is too hard to believe. It doesn’t have to be, we make it that way, cause again we make it about it ourselves. The disciples had a fear in themselves, but they also had faith in Jesus, but they chose fear over faith, which is something else.
Faith is what will happen and fear is what could happen. God is in control, he makes all things possible and yet we want control our lives. Is it really in our nature to be full of ourselves? Jesus was a humble man, this seems to be hard to believe sometimes cause I know if I did all the things that Jesus did I would want to credit myself for doing it, but it was really God doing those things. Jesus is God so he does get to credit himself, and yet he is a humble man.
We can make God into something else entirely and this completely wrong of us to do and yet we do it. We want this to make sense. Christianity has always made sense to me Christ is someone I can always rely on but I can’t always rely myself and that’s ok. Christ is not just here for us to fall back on though he is here before that moment when we cry for him.
He is what we put our hope, faith, and love in, and he gives all those things in return to love other people for God is Love. Again we can make love mean something else. Something carnal, love can be apart of sex in marriage, but outside of it it’s sin not only is it sin against ourselves but sin against the person you’re with.
We should never be boasting about what we’ve done. We can tell people that we did it, but we don’t have to make it about ourselves. Try to focus on the event not yourself. Still this is hard to do cause we want the give the gratitude to ourselves for being great instead of what happened that was great. For greatness comes from God. Michael Jordan use to have a series of ads for his company Air Jordan, one of them said, “Greatness, you don’t want greatness,” In a way it is something we don’t deserve but it is thrust upon us in situations, situations we can’t explain for it was Jesus that said who among the table is greater the king sitting being served or the servers, Jesus calls the servers greater. Jesus calls us to serve others just like he did, and yet we want to serve ourselves and serve ourselves first.
This gives a reason to pray before our meals and give that food to God to make it holy. If we think of him before we think of ourselves he is making what we do holy. For he gave us what we are doing in the first place, we so often forget this all the time really we have given our lives to God through salvation but we don’t want to give it completely to him. If we could this would be so easy. I don’t think God intended life to be easy.
Why don’t we take a road less traveled, when to you look to God first your perspective changes it becomes about doing something for his glory and not for ourselves.

Convenient light blubs

So I met Donald Miller Last night, there are probably a lot of great blogs that start that way. The main thing he talked about was two things boys growing up without fathers and how important conflict is in our life. He said that people really learn from pain. And conflict is important for our lives. The interesting thing to to me is that this is something that we don't want in our life, but every time we conquer it we feel better so if it was never there we wouldn't have the joy. As I write about this he also said that we don't learn anything from joy or happyness. I don't really agree with this because we learn this which is I'm glad that's over with. But I get what he's saying because we don't learn a lot from having joy. Joy is great and it is everlasting but we really learn from the conflict that made the joy and sometimes this conflict is a great thing that is happening to us. I had to overcome some conflicts when I got married, when we did get married it was amazing I've never had a feeling like that before it was like a dream really. Heather felt the same way too. And now that I'm married it's hard and it's easy and that's how life is it's hard and sometimes it's easy but it's fun. I like my life, there are times when we won't like life we won't like what God is doing in our lives we might become mad at God for it. But being mad at God doesn't do anything good for us it just makes us feel worse.

So I like what Donald Miller said, we do deserve conflict in our lives it makes it interesting. We also deserve happyness and Joy for it comes from God. Conflict comes from God, God is always testing us to make us stronger to make us more like him more like Christ. Less of me and More of him in our lives. We decrease so that he will increase.

So conflict is a good things it's not something we should welcome in our lives but we should always love a challenge. God is our Challenger.

I got my books signed by Donald Miller I had had them for years one for two and one for three. Blue Like Jazz is the only book I have ever read twice and it's great, but it' not really about anything specific it's about Don's life and his testimony, He's got it being made into a movie for sometime now I guess that really is a long project. I have something in common with him we both sit around in our boxers and write stories it's fun I don't watch Oprah and eat ice cream, but I won't condemn for that, I mean whatcha gonna do? And yes I am wearing pants now. But it was a great night I use the word but way too much in this, Susan Issacs was great and hilarious I had never heard of her before I bought the ticket but she was great. I met her too. Got to see Adam and Bethany there they were great they're getting married on saturday Heather and I are going and a lot of other people are going too it should be a great wedding. So great night good jokes, a lot of learning going on, good books to read. The game uses Marvel Comics superheroes like Wolverine, Spiderman, Captain America, Iron man, etc. etc., 24 playable superheroes and super villains in all.
Gameplay for this game is just like early X-Men Legends games for the Playstation, Xbox, and Gamecube. It has an over head top down view of the game, although in some parts of missions there is a side scrolling view, which looks great. Sometimes the camera will be stuck in a place where enemies can not be seen or other character can’t be seen. I would have to move towards the other characters on the screen.
Superheroes can be placed into a team of four of any of the available characters. Recreating The Fantastic Four, Classic Avengers, Classic X-men, Thunderbolts, or just random hero teams. Some of the characters have to be unlocked through recruiting missions. Where that Character will have to either fight alone or with a team against a lot of enemies and sometimes solves puzzles like planting bombs or using enemies that blow up cars. All of the missions are a little different for each character. Some of them even have bosses like The Lizard, or Scorcher.
The Superheroes can level up and gain new attacks with experience points, these attacks can do some good damage when the levels are high enough. Leveling is automatic though, which I would rather level up manually.
Superheroes can combine their powers and use fusion attacks, which are activated by moving the nunchuk left to right and then pointing with the wiimote and pressing A on another hero to team up with the hero who had fusion power, which does massive amounts of damage. They are stars power ups that can be picked up, but can be used only once until another is picked up. One of my favorites is the skeet shot for Deadpool and any other hero that can shoot projectiles, like Cyclops, Ms. Marvels, and Iron Man. Hulk and Spiderman have an attack where Hulk lifts a piece of the ground or a wall and throws to Spiderman who catches it with his web and smashes it on an Enemy. So Fusion Attacks are good and they bring back the heroes to life, so they can be used as medicine packs too. They are hard to find though. I usually get them after beating up so many enemies.
Also used in the game are medals or ribbons that can add defense, power, superhuman ability or Strength to the heroes.
Even the loading screens look great. Most of them use propaganda posters for the Marvel Civil War. Or Deadpool bored watching TV.
All the Superheroes say cheesy stuff when they are chosen; Deadpool has the best ones because he breaks the fourth wall and talks about being in a videogame like he does in his comic books where he mentions being a comic book.
This game is based off the Marvel Civil War series from Carvel Comics, where all super heroes were subject to superhero registration act, which drafted them for the government. Some of the heroes rebelled and formed an alliance with Captain America, and the others registered with Iron man. This series is similar to the Crisis on Infinite Earths by DC Comics because it changed the Marvel Universe forever, just like Crisis did for DC.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 is a great game especially for Marvel Comics fans or RPG, adventure fans. It’s an adventure game with RPG element like leveling up character, and having teams. The only complaint was the camera moving where I couldn’t see the enemies I was fighting, and heroes can get stuck in some places. The game has frozen up too, but to me these are minor problems because I can keep moving the heroes around to get unstuck.
It’s a fun game there are tons of missions to play. There are 24 playable characters with unique abilities and it’s based on a great comic book series. A few minor problems with the camera and some traps for the heroes, but it still fun enough to play and it’s really long. Great storyline good voice acting, good CGI Animation cut scenes. I give it 8.5 out of 10.

This morning, while I was driving to work I was thinking about the creation of Adam and Eve. What led me to this is a couple days ago, my wife, said "I wonder who ever came up with being a doctor anyway?" I mean it is kind of an out of the ordinary job anyway if you think about it. I mean you're not really selling anything but your service to your patients. But this morning I was thinking about how God made Adam and Eve. I've heard this before, that God was the first surgeon, he fashioned Eve out of one of Adam's ribs while he was put to sleep by God. And Adam was made out of sand. Then I got to thinking, how can we believe this? the simple answer was because it happened and because God did it. Anything that he's done is believable. it always puzzles how people could believe in all these other religions and all these other Gods and they can't believe in Jesus Christ. Their stories always seem a lot more crazy to me than the story of the Passion of Jesus Christ. It's like it almost doesn't make sense to me for them to believe it. I don't want to disrespect these people or anything like that. I mean I've been wrong before too, but should they really be wrong their whole life? No, of course not, that's one of the key reason's why we should witness to people. I don't want to tell anybody how to live and I don't have to that's not our job really. It's just to share the love of Jesus Christ with people, and to love Jesus ourselves.

Another thing occurred to me while I was driving to get a drink for my lunch. I was listening to Spoken, an older song, "People Get Ready, (Jesus is Coming)," there is a part of revelations, (and I might be quoting this wrong) that says Christ will come back when every nation, every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Maybe it's when he actually phyiscally comes back to Earth. But it makes a lot of sense because he will definitely be here in all our hearts at that time. Jesus is still on Earth. Jesus is in our hearts, therefore in our minds.

I've been reading, Everyday Deserves a Chance by Max Lucado He wrote that by every day God is making you more like Jesus Christ. He's shaping you to be more like Jesus Christ more like himself. So that you can have a better life that you want to live a better life on, and it's not on your own merit, it's done with Jesus Christ.

The future is yours

it is time again to blog... August has seemed to be going by fast. Yesterday to me went by really fast. It's been really hot outside, where I work it gets to like 100 degrees everyday. I am not kidding. I'm glad my office is air conditioned though, but thew rest of the lab really isn't. So it makes me more tired when I go home. it's weird how temperature can put you to sleep. I prefer the cold when I sleep though.

heather and I have been watching the Beverly Hills Cop movies from netflix, because she couldn't believe that I never saw them. I mean they're just Eddie Murphy movies from the 80's which is a decade that he owned by his movies. Now all his movies are terrible. But these are pretty good.

Patrick, Nick and I saw GI Joe while Heather and Sarah saw some girly lame movie with that guy from 300 and that girl from grey's anatomy. It was really good, I was surprised by how good it was actually. The jokes were terrible but so what's it's GI Joe it's meant to be cheesy. I really want to play the new videogame too it looks like quite an omage to the old arcade game that I used to play at chuck e cheese as a kid, not just last year.

Lately I've just been thinking about what I should do for a career, and I want to do something that includes the teachings of Christ too within my career. I still want to be a writer, but really I just want to be an artist. of what I don't know. But it's fun to dream. I just know that I'm probably not going to work here forever, which isn't bad, but I just want to do something that I really enjoy doing. God always has the best plans for us so why not seek out those plans?

It feels good to be somewhere where I can reach others with my faith, and through the church that we are going to we are doing that. I know that what we do they might not seem like a lot to anybody sometimes, but there is something always deeper when it comes from Christ. Heather is teaching two year olds bible stories during church, and I am running sound for the first service and I have filmed the second service once. It is good to feel welcomed there and good to have a church that wants to really save the whole world. I want to do more work like this more production work, it's fun and I'm not bad at it. I don't know where to start though. That's the hardest part for me where do you go? Where does it all being?

I have been praying for the Tindall family in their move, and I just want them to find their ministry there in California like they did here. I know they will never stop wanting what Gods wants from them. All of them know how important the ministry is to the world and they are some of the kindest people I have ever met. I pray that God will bless them there.

In a writing mode

I got my writing mode back on again. I trying to write Dynamic Dirt the first page again, now at work. I have to say this could be a really long story and it could possibly take some time to finish but I started writing it again. Maybe I should post the first page here when it's done.

In other news I don't like Paul McCartney's new meatless monday song at all it's so terrible maybe I should put a link up here. It's just seems like he didn't put enough time into this and it's such a bad recording too. alright I will put a link up

http://www.supportmfm.org/

Now it is a challenge. He set this up as a challenge for other people to make a better song than that one. Well I can see why it didn't sound so good on the radio now since it is a video though. Now that I've watched the video I think I know why he made it so bad now, but then it's Paul McCartney and he could have done a better song than this. I don't support what the song is about though. But I had written a song back in high school about Meat called "Meat is Good," And it's not a great song either, but at least it's fun to listen to. The only reason why I could see how someone could like this song is because of what's it's about, and that it's catchy. That's it.

I also thought about this, Catholics already have a meatless day of the week in their diet. Now you can eat fish on this day, but that's it, if you want to eat meat. It's Friday It's a fish friday it definitely sounds better too me than a meat less monday. It's Monday I got to have meat during some meals, I do, it makes the meal better for me, it definitely fills me up more and it makes it the better meal, it just taste so good. I don't want to have to give up meat for monday, but the point I was trying to make is what if some catholics Christians sign up for this, it would be two days without meat for them. And that doesn't sound or taste good to me. I'm not Catholic, and I don't want to say anything bad about them, but it came to me. Meat is healthy, It's good for you, it's got protein it's good for you.

I know it's a big movement and everything, but that doesn't make it a good thing.

There is a good movement going on though that I know of, it's part of Max Lucado's new book entitled Fearless, and it's called the army of courage. he's wants people to sign up to take a symbolic stance against fear. The army has grown to over 6,000 now I have already joined. I'm looking forward to this book it's sounds so good. Check it out at Upwords.com his personal website fore his books. What better time then now to talk about fear. Fear is always in the media and it's a big part of it, And I know that they are trying to warn about what is happening or sometimes what might happen. Regardless the news should not be printed if it's just rumors but sometimes that's printed.

I watched a town meeting hall that Max did it's on his website, and it was really cool, he took questions from a small audience of maybe 50 or 60 people there and he really only answered like five or six questions most of them were from the world wide web. He set this up to where if had a question about fear and Christianity you could ask it through facebook or twitter if you weren't there.

He seemed so focused about the questions and so ready to deliver a good answer, It was like he had the questions before the he did the show. Which wouldn't be a bad idea. Some of the questions were How can I not be in fear when it's all over the media with ecomnomy being the way it is? How do I know that I'm going to Heaven? And there were some more. It was good to watch here and it made my long day at work go by faster. it sounds like a great book. My parents have so many Max Lucado books and I tried to read one and I found that I really like his style of writing a lot. he tells a lot of stories when he writes and they're from his life, they're things that really happened to him. I always like that in writing. it's good to get a story in a Christian Inspirational book it's something that makes it so much better and it gives you more prespective of why they think the way that they do when they give points about being a Christian today.

I feel like I've written a lot I think I should end this here I'm just in a writing a mode today and I like it, I always like that mode to be in.

I don't even care anymore

not really I do care about a lot of stuff actually.

I can't believe I only posted twice in a month that's crazy for me anyways, I used to do this every day. I don't even know why I did anymore back then, but at least back then I had over 60 subscribers that commented regularly. It's hard to believe that I had that much or that I even created a trend back then.

Heather, Patrick and I went and saw some bands tonight it was ok. It's just not that much exciting anymore. Unless everyone's really good. Maylene and the Sons of Disaster was awesome, Bunny man playing guitar was awesome, their Dummer was amazing, somehow I always find myself watching the drummer at a show because he's got to be the best part of the band, without a good drummer your band is going to suck. I used to watch drummers just so I could keep time better when I'm playing bass and it works. The others weren't quite as good as they were. I like Secret and Whisper I have since I first heard them on Myspace an they were pretty great live, but they had some technical difficulties their drums sounded awful and it totally wasn't their drummer's fault. It was how he was in the sound system, for the first couple songs he really wasn't in it at all and then they miced his drums and it sounded a little bit better. They still needed more rythmn Guitar in the monitors too. It was a bad mix for them, their songs were good though. I didn't like the other two bands and I don't really want to write about them, they were kinda boring. It's far too late for me to be doing this I really shouldn't procrastinate writing these anymore.

Does it really matter to be somebody?

I read an article from Keith Green, who was a Christian Musician, talking about when he did get well known in the Christian Music scene there were tons of fans who ask how they could get started in their own Music Ministry. But they didn't ask him how to become a missionary or a street preacher. My first thought was they're asking him this because he was a Big Christian Music star, and not a missionary, not a street preacher. He might have done that work too; I don't know I just know him for his music. But his real point was why are Americans so star struck, why do we want the glory? Why do we want to put us in the forefront and not Jesus? Why does it matter to us to be so well known? And he goes to say while we are praising these Christian Artists, we should really be praising their purpose in their music, which is worshiping God.

His answer to this question was always the same, which is, and I'm paraphrasing here, are you willing to give up your music, and your life basically to follow Jesus, throughout this ministry? Which is the same question that Jesus asked the Disciples. Are they willing to give up their old life and follow Jesus no matter what the future will bring us? He said that they would always answer, Yes. But he would doubt that they knew the cost of doing this, and that's because we don't know this at all really. We don't know where God will take us, but we trust that where he is taking us is good. Of course it is good; we just don't know the future of our life.

Sure we all want to be known, but does it really make our lives any better to be famous? I don't think it does and there's definitely proof in that if you watch entertainment news. What are we really seeking here? Fame and fortune for ourselves or fame and fortune for God's kingdom? Obivisiously God has chosen some people to be popular in the world; I learned this in high school. With all that popularity none of it really matters if it's not for God's glory. That people who are not popular could actually be doing more meaningful work, and of course it can the other way around too, but it really doesn't matter how well known you are in this world, just that you're serving God.

From the time that I was 11 I have wanted to be in a band, and I have been in some, but I never really wanted to be famous. Sure I still want to record cd's and all that other stuff, but I really just want to write music and have it be heard by others. It's something that simple that can become something so complex. The complex part is really the business part. You don't have to make money at what you do in life, but I bet it would be nice to be able to do what you want for money, but if it's not for God then it's meaningless. It's just you and we all know that we don't walk alone in our Christian Walk. We need to include God in what we do, no matter how big we can get through our work, we must remember who made this possible, God. And we should teach others in hopes that they can feel the same Love that we have that comes from God.

We watch these stars and I noticed today that they really aren't mythed by their fame; it's just their life now. It's like they've gotten used to it. And sure it has changed them, but once they get over that it's just life for them. That their overwhelming sense because of their achievements have fallen flat and that's it's the past for them. It’s just part of their life now and it doesn't really matter that they're famous anymore.

So it really doesn't matter if you’re somebody or a nobody in this life, just as along you are serving God in what you are doing.

updates

I emailed my testimony to Mosaic Church, which is the church that we go to, and they decided to print it in their bulliten, which I didn't ask them to do or expect them to do, but I thought it was cool. They did have to edit it down to fit the required word amount for the bulliten, but that's ok it sounded really good, and nothing was really changed, not that I thought they would change it.

Our old Pastor, Pastor Dave who married us asked us if he could get our autographs for the buliten, which was funny. We didn't though, but he did say that he was going to have it framed for his house. That's nice.

Also, last Sunday I began my training to run sound for church, and I pretty much ran the sound for the second service, and part of the first service. Johnathan Chandlier their Audio Engineer taught me a lot and directed me during the service. It really was a lot more complex than I thought it was when running sound he told me that the congregation is really what you want to watch, they should be worshiping and that you can measure how good you are doing by how they well they are worshiping. We play this one song "God of the City," which is a really good song that can really get the whole congregation worshiping. It's quite a different perspective when you're able to see everybody in church. I liked it a lot I had fun it was challenging and at first I didn't think I could do it because I never really have I mean had been taught a little bit when I live in Oregon and went to church at Eastside, but that was nothing like what we have at Mosaic. Mosaic has some really good equipment for sound, and for recording. So I'm going to do the same thing this Sunday too.

I still want to play praise and worship music at Mosaic and it's really only a matter of time before that happens. I'm going to practice with James Wofford III who is their Music Minister next week, and we will see where I can go from there I guess.

before I got involved at Mosaic it really affected me. I did want to get involved as quickly as I could, but it didn't happen that way for and it seems like it did happen that way for a lot of other people who went to Village Church, I'm not mad about it or anything like that, but I did wonder why a lot. What I realized was that I really don't have to be playing music to glorify God when I'm at Church although I still think about that sometimes when I am worshipping there. I was just so used to doing it that way. But I think I'm getting more comfortable with not playing music at church, even though I still want to do it, which feels weird for me. But I am doing something there now, and that feels good.

I'm glad my friends Mike and Brooke will be reunited today, I know it was hard for them to be away from each other. It would be hard for me to be away from Heather. So, I'm glad that they are going to be home in Arkansas together again. Brooke had been in an ASL internship in New York recently.

We have been hanging out with Mike while she was gone though. It has been fun.

I need to do somethings before I can release any cd's like make cover art, upload all of the songs onto tunecore and I have to buy some cd-r's for special orders that aren't through Itunes. I am doing one more song,it's going to be a rap song about Jabba the Hut, so now the cd has 11 songs on it, and it's still going to be 8 dollars if I can do that with tunecore.

massive

This might not be as massively long as I think it would be or should be, but let's go going!, Alright...!

Ok so something that I have noticed something that I have notice here recently and it's only happened on Blogger.com. When you make a comment you have to enter a safe word before you comment so that the website knows that a human is commenting and not another machine. Well some of these safe words are actual words, most of the time they are nonsense words that a machine doesn't or shouldn't recognize by their system. The word was chant, that's an actual word, I just find this funny sometimes, logic tells me that since machines aren't supposed to recognize nonsense words that they should recognize real words and thus a machine could comment on when presented a real word. But I couldn't because I got another word that was a nonsense word that came up. I got a second safe word.

Is funny to anybody else? No it's really not.

What I really wanted to post about was that I was feeling convicted this morning. I'm not much of an outward faith kind of guy sometimes, there are times when I can be one, but it's really not now, it's hasn't been for a while it seems. First of all Conviction is a good thing. It's not always about sin, it can be about what you haven't been doing and what I haven't been doing is sharing my faith with people. Pastor Mark Deymaz our head pastor at Mosiac Church has offered a challenge to us the body of Mosiac Church to share our faith with three people in the main three months of summer. Seems easy enough, right? So I guess my question is why is it so hard to share my faith with others. At times it's not hard, it wasn't hard when I was in Chicago, It wasn't really hard in Thailand, although it was quite challenging there. I guess it's really all about environments and goals. When you are at work, your main goal is work, when you are at home your main goal can be a lot of things: protecting your home turf, working in your house, spending time with others who are there, which is the most enjoyable goal there for me . When you're in a different country that is not a Christian country, like the U.S., which I still think is a Christian Nation. It's supposed to be harder to share your faith, but that is you're goal there being a Christian, whether you're on a "Mission Trip" or not.

John Piper once said that you're life is a mission field. And I agree with him whole-heartedly on that. I think that sharing your faith can be done without using words from the mouth. You can write songs about Jesus, You can perform those songs, You can write stories that have a Spiritual Christian theme to them, You help out by serving them, by making their lives better, by making them feel better, by helping them. You can do all these things with God in mind, with that aspect in your heart. Then you would truly be God-centered. It is not an easy thing to do. Why? I can't answer that. I probably never will be able to to do that. But and this is not to sound cocky at all, but I have done those things and many, many other Christians have to it's just that we don't do them all the time. I'm sure that's that possible to do too, because you can do all things through Jesus Christ who give us strength, phillipians 4:13 (paraphrased). So you should be able to do these things all the time.

If you can pray without ceasing then you can do that. Maybe that's a hard comparison, but it's true, and that should be one of your goals. Pray without ceasing. I always find it easier take baby steps though. What about Bob, had a great philosphy, it is also a great comedy. I like Bill Murray a lot. He makes it funny without actually trying to be funny, kind of like Ben Stiller. But um back to my main point you can do all these things with God, with Jesus being our lord and serving him, and by serving him we will serve others. It's inevenible it's going to happen, it's an energy that we all have just by being human. WE all have certain qualities that all humans should have, just by being people. And we all have these abilities. All people can worship something, but few of them choose to follow Jesus, who is and was God's Son. But by being people we are all distracted by many things in the outside world that might catch us off guard and makes us just be animals. Which is what we are not. We can't worship all the time or else we would be angels. So it's a deep balance that we all have to face, but not on our own, we have Jesus to help us out, to pick us up when we fall. It's like in Batman Begins when little Bruce Wayne falls down in the garden and he gets attacked by bats, that's not something I would want to happen to me though. But, it's happens to us we fall down, and we get picked up by God, This is grace to me, it's the will that we all have to face another day of redemption or resistence or other r-words, Other challenges, other respects, other experiences that we might have. So when we have these experiences it is important, it is vital to have God on your side or the consequences might mean death.

I think I'm done with my schpeil for now. I'm gonna take a shower soon because I need one. I'm am currently watching Mike and Mike and drying some clothes I am getting a haircut soon today. Other things haven't been specificly planned but they will happen this weekend. This post will end soon I will save you so much more time to do other things that are God-center that you should be doing...............now.

Maybe that didn't work. Maybe it did. this is over now.

nothing should be unforgivable.

What else is there?

we watched Taken and it was pretty good Liam neeson plays batman in the movie because he sounds like him and he kicks butt like him so he is batman the only person who could ever beat batman would be chuck norris. I want to read some gijoe comics yeah they have a whole colection of them at Barnes and nobles where I bought the Mewithoutyou cd which is very good At first I was feeling like this could possibly be their worst album but then I got to the end and it got better I have to say that it is their second best album outthere next to brother sister which came out two years ago

In less than a month I will have been with Heather for a total of three years that is awesome and I still love her. So don't ask me any questions about that. Please.

that last blog was true i did indeed make some rap songs that are available to buy now on a ten song cd that is only eight dollars, please pay me in paypal, check or cash if you live around here. it is only a burnt cd since I am not really signed to anyone. And I finally saw the movie like sometime last month it actually wasn't that bad, it was super easy but come one it's Street Fighter it's gonna be chessey, Hooraah for bad acting is all I can say and this is the only Jean Claude Van Dam movie that I have ever seen. The songs were really great, it seems like every time I'm there worshiping, I want to buy one of the songs I heard that day, but I never follow through. I'm not a big fan of contemporary Christian music. I don't know why, I think it's because I haven't really heard enough of it. I don't like some Christian Artist though that do that kind of music, like Jeremy Camp, and Charlie Hall, Jeremy Riddle, Chris Tomlin, people like that. They're really good. I like music where the band is really good at what they're doing, but they don't have to show off all the time.

We saw the Hangover, and it was hilarious, it wasn't constantly funny, but I like that in a film. Just because it's comedy that doesn't mean it's all about jokes. The best quality of the film that I found was that it really was like watching a journey between these guys, who had to find their best friend who was getting married in like 5 hours. So it was hilarious, and pretty dirty, but I've just come to accept that in comedies now it's a different era. Comedies from the other decades are made differently than they are now. It's just custom to be dirty and somewhat offensive now. They don't have to be that way, that's why I like Nacho Libre and Nepolean Dynamite so much, they were both trying to do something on their own and have their style to them. And they're hilarious.

So I closed out another season on NCAA football 09 and this time I won my bowl game. I went to the Music City Bowl (I don't know where it's held) and beat virgina 31-13 but they played good during the first half I just had to find a play that would work for my running back who has the record for most touchdowns in a season with 50. I ended up with an 11 and 3 record and that's pretty good. I have finally cracked the top twenty and I've been placed at number 17, which gives my team some higher expectations (That's ok). It's looks like next season is going to harder I have to face florida and Texas A and M again.

I really want to eat some Cheddar Brats on the grill, but that's probably not happening for a long time.

The Rapture, and The Apocalypse

It's due time to get back to normal work week. After missing six days at work it's nice to finally get back to a week where I'm working a full week again. It's good for both of us (Heather and I).

For some reason I have been thinking of the end of the world lately, there was a time when I really thought that we have been in the last days. And we might still be. The rapture and the Apocalypse have been really interesting to me ever since I had learned about them. But no one really knows when these things are going to happen and we're not meant to know. That would ruin some of the mystery for us. There's equations for the end of the world and the Mayans have predicted it to end in 2012 and I know it can be a scary thing for some people. There's books about this stuff that I haven't read before. We as humans should not worry about it, it's going to happen and it's for our own good. Both of these things are miracles to me.

How is this not interesting? I know not eveyone believes that will happen. That's part of why it's going to happen though.

Jesus is going to come back and it's going to be awesome. As chessy as that sounds it's true. It's great to know that there will always be new Christian leaders because of Christ coming back and because of the Christians that are already here.

So there's nothing to be afraid of about these events. If you know Christ and you believe that he is your savior than you don't have to threat about the end of the world.

Should I really even talk about the NBA playoffs? This is what I get for listening to the buzz at work I guess. Heather and I watched the Magic win last night. Maybe they're just a better team. There is an article about the game from Orlando, where Cleavland was called the Cleavland Lebrons. I thought that was bad writing.

I read an article about Obama appointing his first supreme court just and how she is from puerto rico. The whole article was about her race. There was an anthropoligist saying stuff in the article, something about reverse racism. I read at KThv. com.

Appointing a Supreme Court Judge that's part of the president's job, and I remember when Bush did this and the media commented on how picked a conservative guy, why wouldn't he? He's a conservative. This article said something about how conservatives will be thinking about this decision and you what they are thinking. Thinking is good especially about something like this but it's not just because race that she was chosen to do this, I hope. That's the point I'm trying to make here. It's news and it needs to be reported on but not like it was.

I've gotten less then 8 hours of sleep for two days. I have already felt the effects of this. It's good to be back at work. I really wasn't gone that long, Heather helped me realize this it was just 6 days. They're some people who still aren't at work here.

most of the soreness has gone away I will be glad when I can't stop bloging about my surgery, I thought about making a whole surgery file on here if I could do that. But I don't think it would be a good idea. it's just part of my life I guess. By now a lot people know that I had surgery.

Just an idea I suppose

Well it's memorial Day weekend it's last four days for Heather and I since We don't go back to work until tomorrow. I have enjoy my time off work, but I am so ready to get back there, it's been two weeks because of my unexpected surgery. I am almost fully recovered I mean I am still a little bit sore, but that's all and my stomach is starting to look better too, my stomach hair still hasn't grown back yet; this is probably too much information for anybody to read. But I want to get to back to work.

We've had fun together being more together here. We're gonna eat burgers tonight, some other stuff. The crawfish boil was fun, and I'm glad that we were invited even though we're not big UFC fans. We really went for the food. Who would pass up boiled crawfish? I never had them hot before. They are better hot, they do make you're fingers burn though.

We got to see Star Trek, we both really liked it, I don't want to write a review about it though.

Went to Target today bought some groceries.

I am a big terminator freak

So we saw the new terminator and I think everyone liked it more than I did. It just left me wanting more. A lot more...of everything really. It was a good movie and there were some awesome scenes in it and CGI Arnold was probably the best thing about the movie, but I wanted more, more time travel, more terminators, more everything except for the gunship terminator that was awesome and I really only needed one of those. The jet terminators were awesome the motorcycle terminators were awesome too and I loved the how they intertwined Guns and Roses in the movie. There were enough motorcycles too. I thought that Kyle Reese could have been older and could have look more like Kyle Reese from the first movie. Alex Good and Derek Reese were replaced by Jadagrace (one word) I forgot her last name. She did great and she was a good replacement so that was okay. Marcus was cool I never thought of a terminator with organs before that's pretty cool and it kind of explains how John Connor would learn time travel from the terminators, but they didn't go into time travel, I guess we have to figure it out ourselves. I hope there are more terminators in the future they could be more of them. Also the war in T2 happened in 2029-2032 but because of what they did in T2 it happened earlier about eleven years earlier. That was okay. Now I'm not sure about this but in T2 Arnold was a T100 and in T3 he was a T111 now am I supposed to believe that Arnold was a T800 now? I think not but I am so that's ok too. So there were some changes but they weren't bad changes. McG is an awesome director and his direction was so cool there a lot of cool shots in this movie and I didn't mind the shakyness. The music was really good and I'm probably gonna buy the soundtrack for the movie it featured one my favorite Alice in Chains songs, "Rooster," which is about war I think. And the GnR song from T2 is in it. The rest of the songs are scores and they are some great stuff the new theme is a little different but I liked it. They always change it a little bit so that's okay. This movie was not written by James Cameron but still the script was good. So it was a good movie, but it could been better.

come with me if you want to live.

no matter hwat I will keep posting no matter how many comments I get or don't get nothing can stop me expect for me. And I'm not stopping so don't worry kids Jared is here to stay for all your reading pleasure, hey stop doing that! I didn't mean that pleasure.

But Seriously I'm not going away unless I die

I am about to goto the Doctor's office and see how I am doing now that it's been over a week since my surgury, and my gall bladder is still gone because I can't grow a new one I'm not claire from heroes or wolverine I'm pretty sure he could grow back organs too. What if Wolverine had a brain tumor how that play out? I don't know I should write some fan fiction about that yes I write fan fiction I did a batman story but I have never put it up anywhere it's not very good. But it does have the riddler, two-face, nightwing, robin and the joker in it. So you should read that please if I ever put it up it's like 15 pages. I just finished a story about a baseball player who has telekinesis and he has to decide wether to use his powers or not in real life I really liked it It's probably one of the best stories I have ever written. It's called "Naturally," kind of a play off words that I kept using in the story, naturally and normal. it's 11 pages i want to publish it with my other stories there are four of them that I want to publish all together and I will do it online soon.

I keep thinking about getting a tattoo on my neck of an american flag waving in the wind. But I'm too much of a wuss to get a neck tattoo I'm too worried that they would puncture my juggular vein with the needle and I just don't want a bloody neck that's some gross stuff if I do say so myself. Well I guess I should tell you about the tats that I do want for real then, I want an anchor that is also a cross, the words Our God is an awesome God, and a jesus fish. The first two are on my back and the fish is on my right arm on the inside of my bicep I've heard that it really hurts there, but that's ok. I have two tattoos already and my wife has four so I have to catch up right? No I really want to do this but it will be a while before I can do it.

I really want a milkshake.

walking again

well I can walk better now but still not up to the same ole' speed that I used to have it kind of sucks but what can you do right?

I had my quiet time today I haven't done this in like a week that is bad of me. I was reading about the fig tree and how Jesus said that we will all pass away but that he is coming back. I love prophesy, I love the book of Isiah, he was a great prophet he told of when Jesus would come. Did you know that the tabernacle is really a picture of the crucifixtion I learned this once my friend, Mike Stacowski or something like that he was polish he was the interim director at the BCM for a while. He taught me this and I still remember most of it it was so cool, I love exodus, Moses is probably one of the most interesting people in the bible. Where was I? I guess I trailed off there for a minute or two. Well that makes two of us? Huh, wha? Ok back on track or is it trek, star trek? That reminds me I still haven't seen that movie. There is something wrong here. I have been watching old episodes of the Next generation though on the SC-Fi channel and WGN the weirdest tv channels ever. It's so weird to me that the chicago channel a local channel is a cable channel, what? ok isn't that weird?

So Patrick, Heather and I tried to watch Benjamin Button the movie or something like that. It was bad. It was so boring and long ugh not even Kate Blanchett can save this movie and she's usually a great actress I mean she made me believe that she was Bob Dylan. She made me believe that Bob Dylan was a woman and she was a man, a beautiful man at that. umm forget I ever said that. But she is good looking. Anyway the movie was really bad, and their accents were terrible and almost everyone dies in it. Geesh how sad can this movie get? I give this movie a 4 out of ten.

i watched the Lakers beat the Nuggets by a hair differencial it was 105 to 103 you know what this means that the Lakers are going to win the series because when ever one of phil jackson's teams be it the bulls or the lakers win the first game they win the whole thing he is 42 and o in that department, which is quite amazing. He is the most winningest coach in basketball. I like the lakers but they are definitly not my favorite team and that Chris Andersen guy is going to be like the next Dennis Rodman with all those tattoes and his hair and stuff and he's a good rebounder that is what Rodman was good at he is the leading rebounder in the NBA maybe I know too much about sports. Anyway should be a good series to watch. I also want the Cavs to win and beat Orlando even there was one time when Orlando was my favorite team having Shaq and Penny Hardaway they were a great team back then. They are great now too but Dwight Howard is not Shaq but he is probably as good or better than he is now. Shaq is still one of my favorite players. My favorite player of all time is Charles Barkley though and I still haven't read his book, I maybe wrong but I doubt it. What a great title that has to go down with such titles as Book by Don Rickles and Searching for God Knows What by Donald Miller. I need to read all of these they are definitely on my reading list.

So to sum it up Sum of all fears? Benjamin Button is bad, watch Sum of all Fears instead, The Lakers are good and Derek Fisher is awesome, buy Charles Barkley's book and remember that God is all good all the time.

King James or Kobe Beef

So, there's this big debate in sports right now over who is the better player, Kobe or Lebron, well this is simple enough it's Lebron. Even though Lebron hasn't won any championships yet, notice I used the word yet. He will win them I assure you this. The cavs and lakers will end up like the celtics and the lakers a great championship rivaly, much like the dallas cowboys and the pittsburgh Steelers or football lore. The celtics have like 19 championships and the lakers have like 11 or something like that all I know is that the celts have a few more and that both of there championships combine add up to 30 or over. Lebron is faster, stronger, bigger, younger, in his prime, he's a better defensive player, he's more of a team player, he's on a better team, and he can dunk better. Kobe is a better outside shooter though. It would be an interesting match up between the two of them though. I don't think that lebron has won a MVP yet though but he will and it will probably be this year it definitely is his year, this year, this time. Well I think you know who I'm voting for now.

graduation

So, graduating was awesome I like it a lot. Is that correct english? Well, anyway the ceremony was really boring, but the music was great except for pomp and circumstance, I hate that song. The choir did great I really liked their song. Even when you get that diploma book you still want to look inside even though you know that nothing is in it yet, they send you that stuff in the mail and it takes like a whole month until you get it, which sucks, but that's ok. Today I watched two terminator movies one was really horrible it was terminator 3 it was so bad it had the worse fight scenes ever in it. It was good until they started fighting actually and then i went downhill. There's this one scene where Claire Danes shoots down a model airplane warship with a gun, what was the point of this? Sarah Connor is dead, how awful is that, how can you have a terminator movie without Sarah Connor? Unless it's the future wars going on and then it would make sense. And when Arnold is trying to kill John Connor and he just decides to quit. I mean come on that was so stupid, why would he be programed to killed and protect him that doesn't make sense. So that movie sucks. Another thing that's bad it's just hard to believe that Claire Dane's and fly a plane.

Next movie was the awesome terminator 2, which I watch at least once a year, this time I watched it with Heather, Mike, and Brooke and we all really liked it, but the deleted scenes were bad. Woah like Keanu Reeves bad.

So it's was a good day we went to Chili's with some friends and ate cake and other stuff. I had some really gross tea, man it was bland. I like it sweet, but I was trying to stay healthy and get unsweet. That's like the first I have ordered tea at a restuarant for myself.

I didn't go to church today I felt too bad this morning just real sore I will be glad when I heal up.

I'm going to leave you with one of my recently favorite songs, later.

good bye gall bladder

So, I don't have a gall bladder now. I was wondering how to start this, so I guess I should really just jump right in and say that. I am still in pain, just not as much as I was, it still hurts to do anything really fast, but I never move that fast anyway. So, now I'm walking like an old man everywhere really just around our apartment. I haven't been anywhere since I got home that kind of sucks. I watched Die Hard yesterday, we just recently bought it, it's still as good as I remember it. I didn't know it had so many swear words in it. The only time I have seen it was when it was tbs so all those words were cut out, that's like half of the script minus the first thirty minutes. I am out of work for 6 days now I will comeback after memorial day. I still get to walk at graduation though, that's the fun part, of course I am going to hate sitting down in those chairs for so long. And those boring speeches ugh. Well at least this time I get a section of people who want to see me graduate. I never was too popular in high school. I want big signs with my name on them like I'm at some political rally or the WWF. Come on people let's do this!

I made a new song and put it up on my myspace at myspace.com/djbombshell. It's called nobility. Check it out. Please.

And thanks to all the people who prayed for me. The surgery went really well and I am doing much better just sore.

I've never had surgery before so it was kind of scary. But everybody there expect for the first doctor we saw was really nice to me. Still being in a hospital sucks and it's hard to sleep in there.

I am glad to be home and Heather is glad too. I love her very much.

It's been a good and long weekend. Probably one of more relaxing ones I've had in a while. I like to be busy and all but sometimes I would just rather sit down and watch TV.

I met one of Heather's friends who she used to be best friends with for years. She has told me a lot about him, and I thought I would meet him eventually. I'm glad that he still wants to be friends with Heather.

I like meeting people. I like people I remember a time when I really didn't, I was a very negative person back then.

Today at church, Pastor Harry Li, taught a message on personality, which is something that is vital to our lives. He compared each personality to a different animal, there was Lion, which was a strong leader type, Retriever, which was a supporting, cooperating team player, Otter, which as outgoing, friendly, talkative, relational type of person, and Beaver, which was a very organized structured, analytical person. I felt like I had traits from the first three, but now I see I have some of all four, but I still feel most like a retriever. I know this made the sermon more fun. He related these personalities to a story in the bible about Jesus coming to eat with Martha and Mary. Martha was a beaver type and Mary was an Otter type. It's seems like they could clash with eachother, but the last verse they both begin eating with Jesus. So I can now see how both of them followed Jesus. I want to read what happened before now.

I was watching Iron Chef and the judges were eating rice out of a bone. I wouldn't want to eat anything that was in a bone. That's where I draw the line. Because I've eaten weird stuff before. I'm sure none of these chefs would think that anything I have eaten is weird. Shark, snake, squid, escargo(sp?), all not weird to them.

I called my mom today to wish her a happy mother's day. I got her a card, and Heather and I are going to get her something later. She isn't going to be here until friday for my graduation. Another busy weekend to be had. It should be fun.

I'm listening to a podcast I've never listened to a a whole podcast before.

Maybe I should have posted that on twitter, which I am on and I like it. I like twitter.com My wife has recently joined too, our sites are, twitter.com/mononinja and twitter.com/flippyflops.

I like because it's so simple it's just one question, there's only thing to do. What a concept.

Got to hang out with the Schumachers last night it was fun, we played catchphrase, iron chef on wii, ate yummy mexican food prepared and cooked by my wife. Patrick was there too.

So tomorrow I have my two finals. Somehow I knew that this would happen to me, I would have my finals on the last day of school.

I guess I will sell all my books tomorrow too. I usually do this earlier. But having both of my finals on the last day of school I didn't do this.

Matthew 17

The Transfiguration

1(A) And after six days Jesus took with him(B) Peter and James, and John his brother, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. 2And he was(C) transfigured before them, and(D) his face shone like the sun, and(E) his clothes became white as light. 3And behold, there appeared to them Moses and Elijah, talking with him. 4And Peter said to Jesus, "Lord, it is good that we are here. It really shows just pure amazement by Jesus Christ and by God to these disciples. I love that amazement that God can show us in all things if we look hard enough we will find the true beauty of all things in this world. Most of the time we overlook well almost everything that happens to us because we're so used to it it seems. And in time if we don't appreciate these things it can seem like we don't care. And we might not. That's the sad truth. But if we go through life with the attitude that God has it set, his plan will not be forgotten. We will act on his plan when we have to and he will be pleased.

Now I'm wondering, which disiciple is supposed to resemble or be moses here.

I have two more days of school. Today I turned in my paper on Copyright Infringement to Professor Fellone I hope he is pleased with it. It wasn't exactly a hard paper to write it was just getting myself to write it was hard sometimes. Copyright is a rather dull subject but I think I know a lot about it so that's why I picked it.

Is better to be practical more that I don't know exploratory? At times of course it is.

In Intro to Ditigal Graphics my group is making an anti-smoking psa with a focus on the UALR campus. At first it was going to be a pro smoking on campus psa but now it has a certain irony to make it an anti smoking psa. I drew the main character of the psa in flash and I did ok it's a ciggerette who's name is nic o'tine he gets impaled by the chancelor of UALR in the last scene. Irony. It's hard to explain sometimes.

I am so glad to be almost done with school holy crap it has been a long time coming.

wolverine

Wolverine was pretty good I thought they did everything well even with the inconsistencies it was still good. I really felt like DeadPool is the Darth Maul of the serious and maybe ray Park should have played him, but they did him well but I don't remember him having tracker beams, I mean Cyclops isn't dead so how could he have them. John Wraiith was cool I thought Will I. Am did well as him. I didn't know much about the character before this, but he was cool. The Blob was good. SliverFox was great, all of the acting was really good. I thought the casting was great. The only thing that bothered me was the repetitive nature of the film. Wolverine fights Sabertooth way too many times. No Sinister but that's ok cause he kind of freaks me out. So it's a good movie , not as good as Iron Man but about as good as X2 which is an awesome movie. I didn't expect to see Xavier in the movie but that was cool too.

Next we need a Juggernaut movie! Please :)

So another great band is coming here, Maylene and the sons of Disaster in August, woohoo. Summer with be great. My current mood is pumped

Also, I recorded a song on garage band on my myspace. Myspace.com/djbombshell, the song is called "g." cause it's my favorite letter. Yes I am that nerdy, I love words. I like the word Assiduos. I don't even know what it means but it sounds cool.

Yes I do want to see the new star trek movie and the new wolverine movie.I hope they make a movie about scrabble. I've seen craziest before two times and both times I felt as if i was on crack. Search for this movie it's like fifteen minutes it's about a girl who gets obsessed with scrabble. It's crazy hints the name. I think it's raining I just heard thunder.

Chee Chee Burger was fun I got a burger with blue cheese and tabasco sauce on it. Patrick and Heather didn't understand my burger but it was good. Heather got like everything on hers. I had a butterscotch shake that was ehhhhhh ok at best. Where was the freaking Ice Cream man? Did they all eat it? I think so. That reminds I was at sonic a while back and they filled up like 20 milkshakes before I got my order and no one was there but me. It was stupid. But still a good sandwhich came out of it. Man I could be a wicked food blogger, right?

I got my haircut, Nick did it. He did good, he's in comsotology school, which is something I never thought he would do but he is good at it.

School's almost out.

Burgers everyday.

Impending Doom is awesome they are one of my favorite bands they just put a new video for their song "More than Conquerors," check out their myspace at Myspace.com/impending.

Going to Chee Burger Chee Burger today for Adam's Bifthday. That is highly illogical as spock would say. Why isn't there a rapper named ill logic? Maybe there is, there is one called Archemedes that's cool but unoriginal. That's like the worst thing to be called these days. It's like you're a heretict you're an unoriginal uninspired nobody and nobody cares. Unless you're George Lucas. All his movies are based on other things yet they're so great so awesome I must have seen star wars forty times now, the original ones not the prequels. Thank God, I can't sit through attack of the clones again, once was enough, that one was pretty boring if you ask me, well at least you get to see yoda fight. He's Yoda he the yodes as I call him you know he can fight. Don't miss with the little man. The Yodes. I wonder if Yoda ever had any children. How big would they be?

There's this show on youtube where these two people a husband and wife just review random stuff every week that's totally weird, but it's a good show most of it is food reviews odd stuff though like jamacan soda, cream soda at that or as I call it sode. I'm just kidding I don't really call it that.

Ok so I was bored and I thought of all the songs I would want to cover if I was in a cover band here they are:

Hungry Like the Wolf by Duran Duran

Buddy Holly by Weezer

Love is a BattleField By Pat Benatar

Jack and Diane by John Cougar Mellancamp

Heaven by Bryan Adams

Seperate ways by Journey

Good Times Roll by the Cars

Bonzo Goes To Bitzburg by the Ramones

Nightmoves by Bob Segar

The Spirit in The Sky by Norman Greenbaum

There some more but I can't remember them all. I remember when dreams were fun, I remember when I dreamt I was flying, I flew around the house. It was fun. Why can't I dream that again?
Well it's monday again you know what that means, work.
There are two movies that are coming out that look like they maybe the best movies of the year and they won't win any oscars. Wolverine and Star Trek. The Oscars snubs so many good movies. We need better award shows they're so boring by the end I don't even care who wins. They're so long but they do cover a whole year so that should be expected I guess.
I was thinking about something during church yesterday. In the song "This is the Air I Breath" there is a stanza that reads And I'm lost without you, our church has the words in spanish below and it intrigued me that without in spanish is sin. And that's what sin really is. It's you being without God that's also what Hell can be not just in life but in eternity. So I thought that was interesting. I have once thought about writing a book about sin and calling it Missing the Mark cause that's what sin means. In the olden days sin was a measurement of how much you missed your target in archery. So that's what you have learned today by reading this even though no one reads this. Which is a shame.

almost over

I don't have much of school left and I've been thinking that it's just going to make life a little bit eaiser for me. Most of the time they only do one thing, but they do that thing well. In fact they can do it better than anything else. Although they have gotten their due in recoginition It goods to reflect on it now and then. Because without the simple stuff we wouldn't have much.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that people need to be greatful for the little things that make up life. I know it's a cliche' but it's the truth. There is a reason that they are here, and they help us out in life. Not all of life is complicated. It shouldn't have to be.

I know that Jesus wouldn't want us to worry about all the complicated things that we worry about all the time. That just cause more grief restlessness for us. He wants us to have peace and for us to attain that peace we have to have faith in him and he have to follow him. Only he can lead us peace.

Peace can be a simple time in your life admists all the chaos of the business of living.

This sounds like it's a country song

Growing Old is nothing new

Growing old is nothing new
It’s just part of life
It’s not something I want to do most of the time
And I’m wondering when I’m going to grow old

It’s not as hard as it seems out there
It’s just your way of looking at it
Happen’s to most everyone
So why be afraid
Of the old man inside

Growing old is nothing new
It’s just part of life
It’s not something I want to do most of the time
And I’m wondering when I’m going to grow old
It’s not my a thing I can change
It’s just relative, age
All things come to an end
And sometimes that’s the best part of the book

Well growing old is nothing new
It’s just part of life
It’s not something I want to do most of the time
And I’m wondering when I’m going to grow old

Will everyone still be around?
It’s just the changes that I sometimes don’t want
It helps me to forget about myself and why the story has changed at all

Cause Growing old is nothing new
It’s just part of life
It’s not something I want to do most of the time
And I’m wondering when I will ever grow old

movies ,and the month of april

we watch two movies recently, Bolt and Slumdog Milionaire. I like how they pronounce millionaire in India, so does my wife. It's a different take on the emphasis of the letters. Anyway they were both really good.
I guess I will start with Bolt cause that's the first one we watched.
It was pretty good it was funny. It wasn't too long. It did take a while to get to the conclusion though. There was a good balence between humor and excitement in it. Bolt is a good character and his voice was played by John Travolta of all people. I was kind of suprised when Heather told me that. This is definitly a kids movie and I'm glad that the people who made this didn't try to sugar coat anything. Bolt would hold a car with a badguy in it over a bridge, that was awesome. You don't see that in some kid's movies. So it was a pretty good movie, and I would reccomend it to anyone really. It's a family film, It's a cartoon but it has a certain appeal to adults too. This is something that Disney is good at.
Slumdog Millionaire is a great movie. It was directed by Danny Boyle who did another movie that I really like, Trainspotting, there were connections from this movie that reminded me of the Trainspotting. Like the running scenes and the scene when the kids were playing sports in the begining of the movie.
The characters were really the best part of this movie, I'm not surprised that this is movie is based on a book either. The three main characters, Jamal, his brother, and Latika, were all really well developed. This movie jumped around a lot. But it wasn't hard to follow. Supposedly there are twelve other scenes in the movie that's like another half of a movie worth.
I wonder how many deleted scenes there in an average short film?
Well they were both great movies, and I could watch them again.

April is begining to be a busy month. Heather's birthday is in two weeks and I have more tests and two research papers to do this month. So that's kind of a lot of stuff to do.

the more I listen to Demon Hunter the more I like them.

I’m sure what to write here right now. I want so much all the time it seems. I don’t know why. It’s just me I can get very impatient. Life can cause this, but really who’s to blame? Most of the it’s us. We do this to ourselves all the time and most of the time we don’t want to stop it or we don’t know how. I’ve prayed for patience countless number of times and I always receive it. Sometimes I’m not even thankful for this virtue that I am able to have.

We all need to have a good mentality about ourselves or else we just become a wreck. We get messed up, stressed out, or just begin to fall apart. Who can save us from this repulsive feelings? Christ can. We must look to him and cast our cares upon his shoulders when we are in need of his help, which is most of the time that we’re here.

Sometimes we are resistant. Why? That’s not right or righteous. Just accept it, accept what he is doing in your life even if it is not what you want. We won’t get what we want all the time. Face the facts that God loves you and he wants you to be more than happy, he wants you to have joy, for it comes from the Lord. So accept that joy and feel better about your situation.

late night

I want to do this with more meaning involved. I guess I’ve always wanted to be one who didn’t stay within the box before and I still hold true to this now, but I do like consistency. I’m sure most of us do. Something’s are hard to explain sometimes. But I guess it’s like this I like to do this I like to write I know not everyone does but I do and since I do what I should write should sound better on paper and have more meaning than it has before. I’ve read blogs like this before, I read one like this on someone else xanga who I used to be friends with and one by Tim of Underoath who wrote about doing. You have to do something in life, and this is one the things I do in life. I guess I do well I don’t have enough criticism under my belt from peers or teachers to tell me this, but at least I can write coherently.

Anyway now that that is settled I guess I should get down to business I switched to Blogger because I felt like Xanga and MySpace are too juvenile for me. I need an outlet that is more adult per se. And this is it even if my screen name is ninjajared. I still want keep this fun; I watched a video that was really an April Fool’s Joke about quiting cause of what he was doing became too much like work (which isn’t a bad thing). I hope I don’t hate work some much again as I used to in the past. I mean really don’t now but that is a totally different subject. I just want a place that’s more for adults, more mature.

I still miss the village church. I still miss Pastor Dave’s Sermons, and of course I miss playing music every Sunday I knew I would miss that. It’s bad how much I miss the place but none of this should be blamed I mean it all came so quickly. I don’t think a lot of us had time to prepare for those last moments there, I know I didn’t. I wasn’t actually ask to speak at the last service, my wife was and if she was going to say something I would have stood by here and said something too. But She gracefully said no about that I know it would be hard for her to say something about it. It was an emotional time for all of us. And now we’re at a new church and the Mosaic Church has greeted us with opened arms, I’m still trying to find my way in there I want to be more plugged in than I am now, but it hasn’t been easy for me I want to play for Mosaic but I’m just not as good as they are I feel like I should’ve known this. I’m pretty much a self-taught musician I’ve had like one bass guitar lesson from Nick and that’s it. Everything else I have picked up from reading fake books and by just playing music either by myself or with other people. Sure I’ve played for a long time I can say with confidence that I’m not bad I’m a good bass player but I guess not as quick as some people are when it comes to learning new material, I have to work at it, but once I got it, I got it. So I still want to be up there playing music because I love doing it. It’s fun I get to interact with God and with people. Playing music has always been about fun for me but I always want to get better at it. I certainly do want get better at what I do in life that should be part of everyone’s goals in life.

Well I guess have gotten a little bit more serious with music as of late and I would always like to record some albums and of course release them; I might as well do it on my own terms for right now though. So When I figure out some way of finalize these songs I have in my head and actually record them either on garage band or on something else, I’m gonna make an album, and I’m gonna sell it somehow. Through myspace (shutters) or Itunes, maybe tunecore if I get that thing to work.

Well I guess if I’m on the topic of music there are two cd’s I want right now, they are MF Doom’s latest release, “Born Like This,” and Impending Doom’s new album, “The Serpent’s Servant,” I’ve recently heard some good songs from both of these. I’m surprised I don’t listen to more rap. I like it, it’s just hard for me to find artist that I like enough to buy their cd’s in the rap world. There’s so much explicit material in rap too it’s not good for me to listen too. It’s not healthy that is.

            School is almost over.

            I’m ready now.

So I started this thing because Xanga is dying. look for new posts soon.
