I'm tired today. I know I would be cause I went to Vino's to see some bands last night, then I get home and I'm tired. Wake up and I'm still tired. I saw three bands all from Arkansas, Something to Stand For, Thrill of a Dogfight, and Take it Back. They were all really good. And I thought all the good Arkansas bands broke up? well there's still some good bands here apparently.
Had some Orange juice today and man have I ever forgotten how much I like Orange Juice. I haven't had any in months, which is unbelievable for me since I love the stuff so much. It's best thing to drink in the morning. My brand is Florida Natural if you were wondering.
I also like toast and eggs too, I love breakfast I could eat it any time of day. I should have a day where I just breakfast type foods. That would be a day. Or a restuarant that just serves breakfast. I know there's already a restuarant that just serves cereal. how weird is that? I don't ever really care to go there. I can make cereal at home. Actually I can make most breakfast at home, but I still love IHOP, weird eh?

my thoughts on Avatar
Avatar was really great and extremely fun to watch. It's like an amusement park ride but with no puking.
When this movie began I just thought that it was good, and as it went on I began to like it more. The world of Pandora is so emersive that I felt like it was a real place. It wasn't like I watching videogames at all, which is the way I felt when I watched Star Wars Revenge of The Sith. I mean Lucas Arts might as well of have made a Star Fox movie. Cause that's what I felt like when I was watch it. That actually wouldn't have been a bad idea. I would watch it. I love Star Fox, but I digress, Avatar's Cinematography is the best I have ever seen. I can't think of anything that comes close. I can see why James Cameron had to wait so long to make this movie.
The story is great too. It gets better as the movie goes on. It gets more exciting as it goes on. And that's what I wanted in this movie, Excitement and I got it.
This movie reminds of The Abyss more than any other movie. Mainly for the animation in it. In way I could see this movie as a cartoon with every segment of the film made with CG and it would still work. But it probably wouldn't have made the same amount of money. Just because not everybody is a fan of cartoons. But I didn't even feel like it was animation and that's what makes this movie so great It's feels real. Pandora is a place that you want to visit for a vacation.
It also reminded me of history, Mainly Custer's Last Stand, with the General being Custer, but way worse, and Jake Sully being Geronimo. The Navi reminded me of the Navajo Tribe or an African tribe. And they were very easy to root for.
I could also see this movie being turned into a TV Drama. I think it could work, kind of like a Lost type show with a lot of secrets and mysteries.
I could also this as an anime series.
One that I do want to have from Pandora is the faith that they have there. In Pandora the whole tribe believed in God wouldn't it be great if we had faith like that. This is also how Pandora can be viewed as the Garden of Eden.
Avatar left me with a great feeling how great American Cinema can be and how great it should be. Of course in American Cinema it the only direction I see is up.

Saturday
I'm always glad when it's saturday. This is the day when Heather and I can do whatever we want to and today is no exception for we are going to see Avatar today and it better be good and it not make me depressed. Of course it won't do that cause I know of a better place than pandora it's called Heaven. I think patrick is going with us. it really sucks that tickets for a 3-D show are 11 dollars though. Well atleast I get my buddy holly glasses to wear.
So lately I have been creating fake bands on Figment.cc I got four so far, The Lesser Knowns, The Pawns, (which was actually the unofficial name of a band I was in), Old Man Gloom, and Swindlers of Death. People can get on there and create fake bands that make fake albums and go on fake tours and they earn fake money called Lucre, which you can use to buy stuff in the lucre store, real stuff, like itunes cards, a book about a fake rockstar, and Ipods, but you got to earn a lot of lucre to buy anything. But it's kind of fun and it helps pass some time at work. Getting on the ole' MS paint and drawing album covers. I either use that or Photoshop elements here at home.
So Heather and I watch that Baby Mamma movie and it was ok. There really wasn't anything I didn't like about it. It was pretty simple and extremely easy to follow and Tina Fey actually looked pretty in it. So it wasn't bad.
I created and Ilike.com page for my garage band recordings and with that comes along a facebook music page. So it's win/win. Here it is if you want to hear a badly produced version of "out of my hands." http://www.ilike.com/artist/Jared+j+Lowry+

Where did the time go?
It's the first snow of the year and It hasn't lasted long where I am at work but at least i got to see some snow, even if it isn't that much, and it just getting colder this week. I am finally getting over being sick, but I still have some minor congestion today, but it's nowhere near as bad as it has been. I would like to thank Heather for helping me get well. I hope she feels better too.
I have to say the message at church yesterday was a little bit hard to follow. It was about faith and how we can do all things with faith and so can Jesus, but it just seemed a little back and forth for me. Because of the way Pastor Mark was preaching. He would go off on how a lot people in the bible that had faith didn't really gain a lot in the life because of it, and how other people did gain a lot because of it. So really why should you still have faith and have nothing to gain? I guess that was the point, but today I thought, We don't have faith to gain rewards we have faith because he is real, and he has saved us from a useless existence. For our reward is in heaven of course, but it is not heaven that we believe in, it is Jesus. Sure we know heaven is real too but it's because of Jesus that we have faith and therefore we are saved. So it doesn't matter how much we get in reward it matters how much we want to believe in him, and of course he will believe in us. The goal is to have faith, not to want to be with Jesus, but to have him in your heart. I hope this makes sense, and that I am not just rambling here.
Heather and I watched a movie called Max Payne with netflix, and it was pretty good. It followed the video game somewhat, it was more like Max Payne 2, than Max Payne. I used to love this game when it was out for the playstation 2.
It feels good to write again! Why haven't I done this? I really don't know. I don't really have a reason to why I haven't written anything in a while, but it feels good to do it again.
It was also good to see the hogs actually win a bowl game, and I'm glad Tejada could redeem himself. I had some friends who went to the game I'm glad they got to go. I hope they were too. I honestly thought this game wouldn't have been so close I thought the hogs would win big, but it was really close and a fun game to watch.
I am missing my Christmas and New Years break I don't want it to already be over. But I am already back to work as most people are too.
