I'm glad the weather is not always like this, but I usually like it when it's cold. I don't, however, like it when it is bitterly cold. Who does? I mean seriously. When it's cold as balls outside I don't even want to go outside. I didn't go out that much anyway. We still got some snow and Ice up where I work but most of it is gone by now I am sure.
So stayed inside most of the weekend almost the whole weekend. Heather is sick so I am taking cake of her. On Sunday the Robson's bought us some food, green bean cassorole, key lime pie and this really good soup. Actually all of it was really good and I plan to eat some more green beans when I get home. I wish my wife could taste how good everything was and I wish she was feeling better. I have been praying for her to get better. She has been taking nyquil and that has been helping.
I did not want to go to work today I would have much rather stayed home with my wife and played wii sports resort or something like that.
We did watch a movie it was that Twilight movie and it was boring to me I didn't like anybody in the whole movie except for the werewolf indians because they were nice. Those vampires were lame, and especially the baseball part what the crap? Vampire baseball? The fight scene was good that was really the only part I liked. Heather and Patrick love this movie, but not me. Both of them said I would like the second better, but I don't know. I usually like vampire movies too. I have always like werewolfs and monster movies and stuff like that.
We watched the pro bowl, which everyone on the radio is calling it the worst game ever played. Well it's not the worst game I ever saw, the worst game I ever saw was when Geogia beat us this season that was pretty unbearable to watch, and the cowboys vs the packers this year that was awful also when they played the redskins even though they won it was still terrible. And of course the first televised bears game was pretty terrible I think it was against the broncos I think. Broncos are awful how did they go 6 and O? I don't know.
I'm reading Catcher in the Rye and it's really good, but I have no idea what's it really about it's just some kid running away from home and school. He's finally got back home now where I am in the book he just got home. But I think it's about finding yourself and moving around in life, kind of like Through painted deserts was about moving and finding yourself and growing up and coming of age stuff I guess. Somehow Donald Miller put Christ in the book too. he has this special way of including Christ in his stories it's quite fascinating and secretive and really good. He's really good at it. Just reading all of Miller's books just makes me want to go back to Oregon for a week with Heather and show her where I used to live and goto Church and School and where we used to eat and goto shows and concerts it was some fun times living there for almost three years. The Catcher in the Rye was written by J.D. Salinger who just a couple of days ago died and was 91 that's really old. I didn't even know that he was still alive really. Well he's not now anyway.
So I guess I will end this blog up with some movies that I can always watch no matter what the circumstances are.
Tommy Boy
Joe Dirt
Terminator 1 and 2
The Big Lebowski
Fargo
Rushmore
the first three Star Wars movies
The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
Forrest Gump
The Wedding Singer
The Waterboy
Billy Madison
and Happy Gilmore
Black Sheep is worst Farley/Spade movie I have ever seen, it's not even funny. And I didn't ever finish Beverly Hills Ninja although I want to someday.
