Matthew 17

The Transfiguration

1(A) And after six days Jesus took with him(B) Peter and James, and John his brother, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. 2And he was(C) transfigured before them, and(D) his face shone like the sun, and(E) his clothes became white as light. 3And behold, there appeared to them Moses and Elijah, talking with him. 4And Peter said to Jesus, "Lord, it is good that we are here. If you wish, I will make three tents here, one for you and one for Moses and one for(F) Elijah." 5He was still speaking when, behold,(G) a bright cloud overshadowed them, and(H) a voice from the cloud said,(I) "This is my beloved Son,[a] with whom I am well pleased; listen to him." 6When(J) the disciples heard this,(K) they fell on their faces and were terrified. 7But Jesus came and(L) touched them, saying, "Rise, and(M) have no fear." 8And when they lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only.
9(N) And as they were coming down the mountain, Jesus commanded them, (O) "Tell no one the vision, until the Son of Man is raised from the dead." 10And the disciples asked him, "Then why do the scribes say(P) that first Elijah must come?" 11He answered, "Elijah does come, and(Q) he will restore all things. 12But I tell you that Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but(R) did to him whatever they pleased.(S) So also the Son of Man will certainly suffer at their hands." 13(T) Then the disciples understood that he was speaking to them of John the Baptist.

I copied and pasted this from biblegateway.com. It really shows just pure amazement by Jesus Christ and by God to these disciples. I love that amazement that God can show us in all things if we look hard enough we will find the true beauty of all things in this world. Most of the time we overlook well almost everything that happens to us because we're so used to it it seems. And in time if we don't appreciate these things it can seem like we don't care. And we might not. That's the sad truth. But if we go through life with the attitude that God has it set, his plan will not be forgotten. We will act on his plan when we have to and he will be pleased.

Now I'm wondering, which disiciple is supposed to resemble or be moses here.

I have two more days of school. Today I turned in my paper on Copyright Infringement to Professor Fellone I hope he is pleased with it. It wasn't exactly a hard paper to write it was just getting myself to write it was hard sometimes. Copyright is a rather dull subject but I think I know a lot about it so that's why I picked it.

Is better to be practical more that I don't know exploratory? At times of course it is.

In Intro to Ditigal Graphics my group is making an anti-smoking psa with a focus on the UALR campus. At first it was going to be a pro smoking on campus psa but now it has a certain irony to make it an anti smoking psa. I drew the main character of the psa in flash and I did ok it's a ciggerette who's name is nic o'tine he gets impaled by the chancelor of UALR in the last scene. Irony. It's hard to explain sometimes.

I am so glad to be almost done with school holy crap it has been a long time coming.
